BITFLEX Primer
Quick-drying bituminous and anionic primer (concentrate)
Application:
- Priming of mineral substrates for insulation made of bituminous compounds, weldable and self-adhesive membranes
- Priming substrates with reduced water absorption, the so-called "waterproof concretes"
- Priming floors on the ground in basements and garages
- Priming OSB panels
- To protect wooden elements sunk into the ground
- Damp-proof insulation of underground elements of buildings and structures
Properties:
- Quick and easy in application
- Increases the adhesion of the insulation to the substrate
- Quick-drying, allows welding the bituminous felt even after 30 min
- Very good adhesion to mineral substrates
- Can be used on dry and damp substrate
- Does not contain solvents
- Odorless
- Safe for use in contact with polystyrene
- Based on the innovative technology of low-molecular asphalt emulsion
Available packaging:
- 8 kg, 22 kg

Reference document(s) | PN-B-24002:1997; |
The temperature of the substrate and air during the works should be from +5°C to +30°C. Works should not be carried out during precipitation and strong sunlight. The product should be used in airy places, away from fire.
- 0,15 - 0,20 kg/m2 solution 1 : 1 (water : BITFLEX Primer) - priming
- approx. 0,5 kg/m² - damp-proof insulation (applies to the finished coating)

NEXLER BITFLEX System for Foundation Waterproofing
Foundations are the cornerstone of any building, channelling its weight to the ground and ensuring structural integrity. For building longevity, robust protection against moisture and groundwater is absolutely essential.

Keep the following in mind when building foundations
Foundations are, quite literally, the base of every building. While they seem robust and impervious, their longevity largely hinges on adequate water protection. Neglecting proper waterproofing can lead to severe issues - from dampness and cracks to mould growth and even a weakened structure. This raises the question: how can foundations be adequately protected against the adverse effects of water?

How to Protect Yourself from Carcinogenic Radon?
Radon is an invisible, odorless, and tasteless radioactive gas that can infiltrate our homes and workplaces, posing a serious health risk. Long-term exposure to elevated radon levels is, in fact, the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking.

Why is it worth priming the substrate before welding bituminous felt?
A roof that leaks after two seasons? Complaints, lost customer trust – something every roofer wants to avoid. That is why proper substrate preparation, including priming, is not a detail, but the foundation of durable and trouble-free roofing. Although it may seem like a mere ‘formality’, in practice, priming has a huge impact on the durability, safety and effectiveness of the entire waterproofing system. In this article, we explain briefly and concisely why priming is not an option but a necessity.

Waterproofing foundations in a single-family home
Foundation waterproofing is a key stage in the construction of a single-family home, which determines the durability and functionality of the building.
