The product should not be used indoors in occupied spaces.
The temperature of the substrate and air during the works should be from +5°C to +25°C. Do not apply on a heated substrate. Works should not be carried out during precipitation and strong sunlight.
During the works, very good ventilation of the work area should be ensured.
The substrate intended for product application should be bound, seasoned, load-bearing. The substrates should be cleaned mechanically, dust, any loose layers and impurities that worsen adhesion should be removed. The substrate intended for Silver Protect application must not be frozen or frosted. Remove rust, degrease and protect metal parts against corrosion. Remove impurities and loose parts of the old felt from the surface of the felt-covered roof. Cut existing bubbles and blisters crosswise and glue them down using NEXLER Arbolex Aqua Stop roofing putty. Carry out maintenance of the roof covering. Fill holes and cavities in the old covering with NEXLER Arbolex Aqua Stop compound in order to even out the surface.
Check the production date on the packaging before use. Do not use the product beyond its shelf life. The product should not be objectionable (e.g. contain lumps, fibres, discolouration) after opening. The product may have a uneven color, which is not constitute a defect in the product. Before use, it should be thoroughly mixed to achieve a uniform shade and the appropriate consistency. When properly mixed, the product forms a homogeneous coating when spread over the surface with a tool.
Silver Protect is a ready-to-use product. Before use, the product should be mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained and the pigment in fully, evenly distributed. It is recommended to use a low-speed stirrer. If stored at low temperatures, the product should be placed in a warm room for a minimum of 24 hours before use. When using products from different manufacturing batches, mix all of it together to obtain a uniform colour of the decorative coating. During works the product should be mixed from time to time due to aluminium pigment deposition at the bottom of the container.
